Toni Kroos has suggested his old club Real Madrid are still lacking players with his qualities since retiring last year.

Under new manager Xabi Alonso, the Red Devils have added Dean Haujsen and Trent Alexander-Arnold to their squad. This summer as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup semi-finals.
However, there is no new signing in midfield. With Kroos’ former team-mate Luka Modric set to leave the club after the tournament in the United States.
Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi was previously linked with a move to Premier League side Arsenal.
The club have already backed Alonso in the summer transfer market with Trent Alexander-Arnold. And Dean Huijsen landing from Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.
Argentina international Franco Mastantuono will complete his move to Madrid when he turns 18 in August but more new faces are expected.
Kroos and Alonso famously never played together in Madrid as they crossed paths in 2014 with the former heading to the Estadio Santiago Benabeu as Alonso replaced him at Bayern Munich.
“Madrid are still lacking someone with my qualities, they are looking for players like that,” the 35-year-old began to tell Italian publication โปรโมชั่นพิเศษจาก UFABET สมัครตอนนี้ รับโบนัสทันที Sport over the weekend.
“There aren’t many players like that in world football. And the ones that are there are not easy to bring in.”
“It’s too early to judge, Xabi Alonso’s Madrid, he needs time to change and to install his own ideas.”
“There are many things that need to change, I’m sure Xavi knows how to do that. Madrid has a lot of quality, so things have to work out.”
